Notes:
Return of Humphrey the Bear to the screen - 50's Disney gag character. Might just have been Jimmy Macdonald's last acting job.
Many parodies here: Jeremy looks like Beany of "Beany and Cecil," Hubert a looks and voice parody of Danny DeVito.
Rangers in "entirely" human world here. [In that the dilemmas and problems they interact with are mostly with normal humans - which is an irony because the episode takes place in the context of a camp ground, where people (at least ostensibly) go to get out of the "human" world for a time. - Winston]
[Humphrey repeats one of his "classic" cartoon gags: can't catch a fish, then grabs one by accident, throws it away, and does a take when he realizes what he's done. It's a coin toss as to whether or not it works here. - MP]
