AD: 10/18/89
D: John Kimball, Rick Leon
SEd: Bryce Malek

RSC: (none)
Voices: Corey Burton -- Wexler
Peter Cullen -- Monterey Jack, train passenger, Pharaoh's demon
Jim Cummings -- Dr. Crockery, Hiram
Tress MacNeille -- Sphinx guide
Notes:
Did they really have to do a whole episode just for one single gag??
(Hiram and Rangers thrown off the train) It hardly seems worth the trouble.
Cummings' Bert Lahr parody as Hiram is the main highlight.
Another Dale obsession: collecting souvenirs. (Not seen in any
previous or future foreign adventure.)
Adventure angle is not that outstanding.
Wexler is a nasty shrimp without even Nimnul's softening looniness.
[Also the source for one of the most popular Gadgetisms; just the word
"should". This habit of a "warning phrase" (something Gadget mentions offhandedly
which makes the others fear for their lives) would be backed up in "Pavlov".
And is it just me, or did Wexler look a bit like Stephen Spielberg? - MP]
