Notes:
What can be said vs this ep? GREAT.
Parody of "kindlier/gentler" Bush theme superb. Gadget's cheeriness
and high spirits emphasized almost to the point of silliness (e.g. going
thru dishwasher) -- for once she gets to use her emotions of anger for
a good cause.
"Return" of Baby Herman (or someone who strongly resembles him) to action
in a most unexpected venue.
Koonce and Wiemers return to "Beagle Babe" theme with Monrovia and Pomona.
Rangers call 911, but Spinelli ne comprend pas -- staying within parameters
of the series.
Mr. Hancock a parody of Jim Backus.
Kind of interesting (in PC climate) that violence in Monty style is
in a funny sense justified here. Crimefighters SHOULDN'T have to
be "kindlier and gentler."
1st and 3rd segs. start exactly the same way -- trashed Rangers patching
selves up.
"Trash the Brat!" line reportedly changed to "Trash the Bum!" after
complaints raised. Never actually saw this.
[Another line change was "Let's shake that baby ‘till he rattles!" to
"Let's shake that crook ‘till he rattles!".
Oh, and if you're reading this, Candy: Ha-ha! I'm not the only Rangerphile
who thought this was one of the best episodes! Neener-neener-neener! [grin] - MP]
