Notes:
Every old-age gag in the book is trotted out.
"Norman" Nimnul, not "Norton"! (Is this Normie's Dad?)
As in "Out of Scale," Nimnul starts out not being a villain, but here
he "goes bad" like his milk experiment.
[Fourth wall broken for a moment here. Nimnul asks the chipmunks, "How
would you like to be 90 years old, in
chipmunk years?!" then turns
to face the camera and clarifies, "That's 630 to you and me."
Plenty of non-age jokes here as well. "You really should watch what
you eat." -- "I never eat anything I can't see.", "That looks plum suspicious."
(As he's staring at the giant plum trees which grew through the roof),
"Crowds always make me nervous, unless they're groveling at my feet.",
etc.
Have to admit, the imagery of giant trees surrounding the catwalk and
having the factory walls as a backdrop was a bit M.C. Escher-esque. - MP]
