How To Use This Converter:
It's simple: Enter the title of the story and the author's name into the correct fields. The E-mail address or homepage field is optional, leave it blank if you'd rather not offer this information.
Open your story in whatever program you use. Copy the text of your document, and paste it into the Story Text field. If you want a disclaimer to appear above your story, type or copy and paste it into the disclaimer field. This field can be left blank, if you don't want a disclaimer or want to add it later yourself.
After the story is converted, in your browser go to File, Save As..., and save it as a .htm or .html file on your local machine. Note that you *must* save your own copy in order to re-upload the HTML version of your story somewhere else - if you just copy and paste the URL after hitting "convert" and try to repost that link, nothing will display.
This converter allows for a few specific HTML tags, but "disarms" all others, for security reasons.
Allowed HTML tags include <hr />, <b>, <strong>, <i>, <em>, and <u>.
All others will be converted to plaintext.
