My Gadget related Musings

How I met her, the day of a dream come true:
I can remember roughly when I first 'met' Gadget because it was about the time I got my new computer(Yeah!), it was as I recall just a normal school day, and I was surfin' the 'net for furry stories (which I got by the way) when I found a link that said something to the effect of 'someone's Gadget page' being interested in gizzmos and gadgets (and also why it was on a furry link page)my interest was sparked, but when I clicked the link, instead of some bit of technology I was greeted by the smiling face of Gadget, and I was hooked. Just a few observations:
Gadget has what's called a Prehensile-tail, that is she can use her tail to grip and/or manipulate things/controls/tools. And I must say what a tail!!
Mice are supossed to have whiskers aren't they?? Here is a quick hack I did to see what she would look like with whiskers. [There should be a link here, but it's been broken for years.] Not good?? I know.
Here is one thing that FurrBall commented to me, Mice have twelve breasts, not two (And I think Gadget would lose her 'hourglass' shape if she had twelve instead of two.)
And a few questions:
Just what species of mouse is Gadget, I haven't heard anything about it.

I have heard all about this debate about the color of Gadget's hair. Now I propose another debate, what colour is Gadget's fur?? Here is a small selection of fur samples taken from the same set of screen shots (Taken with permission from Gadget).

Here is my contribution to the Gadget hair debate, a sample of Gadget's hair taken from the same set of screen shots, and as you can see, ther is a lot less variation in her hair than in her fur.

I know this is a rather controversial subject, so don't attack me with any projectile weaponry if I voice my opinion. And my opinion is quite a different one. So please read all of this section before you make any judgements.
Now, my chosen cohabitator for Gadget is another mouse, not only from another show but from another animasion studio, it's (believe it or not) The Brain. From Pinky and the Brain.

For:
• There both mice.
• They are both inventors.
• They are both obsessive about their work.
• There both aviators. (Brain flys a Ziggey)
• They are both expert lockpickers.
• There my two favorite mice


Against:
• One word, 'Chipmunks'
• Brain's world takeover obsession.
• Pinky.


Things Gadget and Brain have both done:
• Gone in to space.

If, and I mean if, Gadget and Brain got married, this should happen..
1 - Gadget should be able to distract Brain from trying to take over the world, and Brain could have his takeover nights on the weekend, this would alow Brain to develope his plans further and with Gadget's help.
2 - Chip and Dale would (or at least should) accept the fact that Gadget is married (I know Dale can) and continue on the Ranger work, Gadget would be able to visit the other rangers to repair any equipment that got broken or smashed during their work.
3 - Pinky could either stay with Brain & Gadget or go join the Rescue Rangers. (I think that Pinky and Dale could be friends as they have common interests, ie. Mind rotting TV and radio shows.)
4 - Correct me if I am wrong but a good relationship between Gadget and Brain (or any other candiate) should resolve any of the 'lingering traces of grief' that may be troubling Gadget.

Alternatively Brain could go live at the Ranger tree, this would probably have the best net result.
1 - The Rescue Rangers would still have their inventor, in fact now they would have two. (Could they make The Ranger Jet, Yeah!)
2 - Brain dosen't seem to have many friends (Except for Snowball at one time). He would now have plenty of friends.
3 - Pinky would not be left in the lurch. Him and Dale could be friends as they have common interests, ie. Mind rotting TV and radio shows, annoying everone else. Now the Rangers number 8.
4 - Same as No.4 above.
5 - Snowball would get jealous, try to take Gadget off Brain, get clobbed by the rest of the rangers and (Hopefully) give up annoying Brain.

BIG NOTE: The choice who Gadget is to marry is ENTIRELY up to Gadget herself, all us fans can do is suggest possible candidates and discuss the pros and cons of each one. And of course, wait for her to tell us.

It would be at the preferred +75% if not for a few questions which I disagree with:

Sorry, But that's going a bit too far.

#32 Been the mayor of Toontown?

If she was the mayor she would have less time for inventing.

NOTE:This section was written for my Gadget Erotica Links section [No, we won't be seeing anything like that around here anytime soon, at least not now that I'm maintaining the page], so bear that in mind when reading this.
Now, while I like Gadget erotica and I like collecting it, it's because of who's in it, not what she's wearing. To explain further read the following excerpt from the Gadgetism Test, Q.58 3rd part:
"...If no, you don't feel strongly, is it because Gadg is Gadg and it must therefore all be holy?"
I also like collecting non-erotic Gadget art, and normally prefer Gadget to be wearing clothes rather than none (or very little). (Also it's probably better for Gadget too, as althugh fur is nice and warm, it has it's limits and is also much harder to clean oil and grease out of than cloth.) On the another side _most_ of this erotic art show off her _beautiful_ body in ways that only nudity does, and gives gadgephiles even _more_ to hope for...
And that pretty much sums my feelings towards this sort of thing.

Small things not nessarly about Gadget...
A couple of things regarding 'ol Monterey:
* I thought this was funny when I found this out, but the voice actor that does Montery Jack (Jim Cummings) also does Fat cat. Funny when you think of how much Monterey hates cats only to find that he is also a cat!
* Kangaroo-rat or Kangaroo-mouse?? I have been researching
